Start with the project requirements. Then confirm the production fit.
Salt City Metal Coatings supports manufacturers, fabricators, contractors, and carefully reviewed custom projects from a 16,000-square-foot facility in Enoch near Cedar City. Before committing, we review the complete scope, part material and condition, quantities, finish requirements, handling, schedule, and communication needs.

Project & Production Analysis
Capacity is more than whether a part fits inside an oven. We look at the part, the required finish, the production pattern, and the way the work must move before and after coating. These four areas help us decide whether the project fits and build a practical plan with the customer.
- Part and batch fit: Manufactured parts, repeat orders, larger components, and carefully reviewed custom work.
- Requirements review: Drawings or photographs, material, dimensions, weight, quantities, finish specifications, service environment, masking, and approval requirements.
- Production planning: Racking, handling, packaging, release patterns, logistics, and schedule coordination.
- Process coordination: Powder coating and surface preparation are planned with the complete production flow in mind. Explore our services.
Facilities & Production Equipment
Our 16,000-square-foot, two-building operation provides dedicated space for preparation, coating, curing, and handling.
- Coating: Two large powder-coating booths with Gema OptiFlex Pro application equipment and reverse-pulse filtration.
- Preparation: A multistage chemical-preparation booth and a dedicated media-blasting booth.
- Handling and repeat work: Custom rolling racks and fixtures support larger or complex parts and recurring production.
- Quality checks: Mil-thickness gauges, MEK testing, and cross-hatch adhesion-testing tools support process verification.
Two commercial batch ovens support a range of batch work:
- Rapid Engineering: 30' L × 12' W × 10' H
- Global Finishing Solutions: 20' L × 10' W × 10' H
These are equipment dimensions—not guaranteed usable part dimensions. Part shape, racks, movement, weight, clearances, and process requirements determine actual fit.
Shipping & Receiving
A dedicated logistics area supports semi-trailer access and maneuvering, staging, loading, and unloading for multiple semi-trailer loads.
Our team coordinates and tracks incoming and outgoing loads to keep large-volume and repeat-production projects moving through receiving, production, staging, and shipment.
Before dispatch, review what to arrange before sending a truckload of parts.
When the work is ready, schedule pickup directly with Salt City before coming to the shop or sending a carrier.

Is the Project a Good Fit?
Salt City is strongest when customers need dependable batch finishing, repeatable requirements, or help fitting coating into a production workflow. Small one-off jobs are generally not a fit. Parts may also be unsuitable because of their size, weight, geometry, material, starting condition, heat sensitivity, or need for wet paint or another process.
We do not stretch capability claims to win every job. If the work does not fit, we will explain why and help identify a practical next step.
Let Us Review Your Parts and Production Needs
Send drawings or photos, material, dimensions and weight, quantities or release pattern, current condition, finish and performance requirements, masked areas, packaging or logistics needs, and the needed date. We will evaluate the complete project rather than relying on one equipment measurement.
