What you’ll do
- Use media blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint, and other material from metal parts.
- Select and follow the correct blasting process for the job.
- Inspect surfaces to make sure they are ready for the next production step.
- Wear required protective equipment and follow dust-control and equipment-safety rules.
- Maintain blasting equipment, media, hoses, and work areas.
- Coordinate with the preparation and coating teams so work moves safely and on schedule.
What you’ll bring
- Are comfortable doing physical, hands-on work in an industrial shop.
- Can work carefully around pressurized equipment and abrasive media.
- Pay attention to surface condition and avoid damaging customer parts.
- Are dependable and willing to help teammates load, move, and inspect parts.
