We are seeking 2-3 motivated and self-starting individuals to join our fast-paced, rapidly growing team at Salt City Metal Coatings.
About the Role
Working across various departments including Product, General Labor, Manufacturing, Metal Prep, Paint, Sandblast, and Powder Application, you will be part of our full-time team, ensuring smooth operations in our industrial paint shop. Your daily tasks may include:
Setting up and operating machines to coat aluminum and steel products
Performing media blasting
Loading and unloading parts, and keeping the production line busy
Weighing or measuring chemicals, coatings, or powders before adding them to machines
Operating pre-treatment equipment, spray booths, ovens, and manual powder gun applicators
Inspecting parts for quality and reporting any issues
Complying with safety procedures, promoting workplace safety, and reporting all unsafe acts
Requirements
Experience in painting, powder coat, or fork lift operation will be an advantage, but is not required. We value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with a team.
Willingness to work in 8-10 hour shifts, including overtime.
Ability to take instructions from supervisors and work as a team.
