Powder Coating Painter

Salt City Metal Coatings is looking for a Powder Coating Painter to join our team in Southern Utah. This is a great opportunity for someone who is physically fit, enjoys working with others, and is dedicated to arriving on time every day.

General Description: As a Powder Coating Painter, you will apply paint to metal parts, ensuring quality and efficiency in your work.

Hours & Compensation:

35-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Starting pay of $16/hr, higher with prior painting experience
Overtime compensated at time and a half

Responsibilities:

Arrive at work on time every day
Move racks of parts in and out of powder coating booth
Read and follow work orders
Load the correct powder and perform color changes with speed and accuracy
Spray powder onto parts with precision
Learn from other painters and contribute your ideas
Wear personal protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines
Keep your work area clean and organized
Assist in other departments as requested

Experience required:

Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
Clean shaven for wearing a respirator
Able to lift up to 75 lbs
Able to work on feet all day
Able to work in hot summer conditions
Willing to work overtime and on Saturdays as needed
