COMPANY HISTORY
In 2015, Bradley Heath faced a challenge. The company he worked for could not find a reliable powder coating vendor nearby. Vendors they tried often performed poor quality work, charged too much, or had long turn around times.
Seeing this problem, Bradley decided to take action. He researched the market and discovered a real need for a new powder coating company that offered better service and prices.
So, he founded Salt City Metal Coatings. The new company focused on excellent customer service, high-quality finishes, on-time delivery, competitive pricing, and fast turnaround times. Thanks to these values, Salt City Metal
Coatings rapidly grew into the largest powder coating company in southern Utah.
Today, the company is renowned for keeping their promises and helping their customers compete for market share in their industries. Notably, the company has expanded its reach and now serves customers all along the I-15 corridor, from Salt Lake City, UT to Las Vegas, NV. Our facilities are designed to provide top-quality powder coating services to meet all your needs. With two large buildings spanning 16,000 ft.2 of floor space, we have ample room to handle projects of any size.
Our state-of-the-art equipment includes two large and efficient modern commercial ovens with precision temperature and batch cycling controls. We can handle parts up 30’x12’x10’ in size. This allows us to cure your
powder coated products to perfection, ensuring a strong, durable finish every time. We also have two modern powder booths that are well
lit with energy-efficient LED lighting, which ensures consistent coverage and quality for all our coatings. These booths also utilize continuous airflow and reverse pulse filtration systems for clean operation and powder use efficiency.
In addition to these facilities, we have a multistage chemical prep booth and abrasive media blasting booth available, providing flexible alternatives for surface preparation. Our team of professionals is equipped with Swiss-made Gema OptiPlex Pro powder guns for uniform powder application and high transfer efficiency.
