Gallow Technologies needed more than a finished color. The Southern Utah manufacturer was working to bring production of its metal-storage products closer to home after an overseas supply chain created long lead times, difficult communication, and inconsistent quality.
The challenge
When fabrication and finishing are separated from the people responsible for the product, small problems can become expensive delays. Distance made it harder to respond quickly to quality concerns, coordinate changes, and keep production aligned with customer demand.
A domestic production path
Gallow identified a regional fabrication source for its American-made products and then needed a powder-coating partner that could support the finishing step. Salt City Metal Coatings became part of that local production path, providing powder coating and helping coordinate the movement of parts from fabrication through finishing and onward to distribution.
How Salt City supported the work
The project required attention to more than coating application. Part condition, finish requirements, release timing, handling, transportation, and communication all had to work together. By keeping fabrication, coating, and distribution within a more direct regional network, the teams gained a clearer path for addressing questions and production changes.
What this example shows
A domestic coating relationship can support broader supply-chain goals when responsibilities and logistics are defined before production. Salt City’s role is to review the real parts and requirements, establish a practical finishing plan, and communicate candidly about fit, timing, and handling.
